The Montecatini Terme/Valdinievole A.P.T. (Local Tourist Board) carries out tourism promotional activities, both in Italy and abroad, with special focus on the historic, artistic and environmental heritage of the territory for which it has competence.
The Montecatini Terme/Valdinievole A.P.T. has competence over the territories that consist of the Municipalities of Buggiano, Chiesina Uzzanese, Lamporecchio, Larciano,Massa Cozzile, Monsummano Terme, Montecatini Terme, Pescia, Pieve a Nievole, Ponte Buggianese, Uzzano, which are all encompassed within the Province of Pistoia, Tuscany Region.
The Montecatini Terme/Valdinievole A.P.T. offers services related to and linked with tourism assistance and reception facilities. In particular:
1. It provides tourists with free of charge information material (maps, brochures, posters, event calendars), to be handed out directly or dispatched by ordinary mail or e-mail;
2. It delivers information free of charge, either on the spot or by phone, fax or e-mail, concerning hotels and restaurants, transports, museums, local events and any other useful information to tourists;
3. It distributes the event bulletin, entitled "APT Informa" (APT informs)
